INTERVIEW AND INTERROGATION LEVEL I

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to provide the law enforcement officer with the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary when conducting criminal interviews and interrogations, with an emphasis on Miranda use, communication and listening skills, body language, as well as the importance of proper documentation of the interview or interrogation.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to ensure a quality presentation of street level negotiation skills training for the road officer, corrections officer or supervisors, in order for them to bring about a peaceful resolution to the current call for service or corrections incident. This course is designed to teach the basic skills, techniques and concepts required of patrol or corrections officers, with an emphasis on communication and active listening.

Course Description: This course is designed to provide the new investigator with a comprehensive examination of the skills, tools and techniques required to conduct successful criminal investigations. The law enforcement investigator will gain an understanding of how to utilize the techniques and tools learned in order to conduct a lawful and proper criminal investigation with an emphasis placed on interview and interrogation, evidence collection, and crime scene preservation.
